Your Dominant Thinking Style: Exploring

You thrive on the unknown and unpredictable. Novelty is your middle name.

You are a challenger. You tend to challenge common assumptions and beliefs.

An expert inventor and problem solver, you approach everything from new angles.

You show people how to question their models of the world.

What Nikki Means

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.

You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.

You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It’s easy to get you excited… which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don’t stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life.

You are also a keeper of knowledge – meaning you don’t spill secrets or spread gossip.

People sometimes think you’re snobby or aloof, but you’re just too deep in thought to pay attention to them.

What Your Blue Umbrella Says About You

When faced with adversity, you can be counted on.

You rise to the occasion when things are tough, and you are very dependable.

You are cool and laid back. Everyone finds you easy to get along with.

You are a good communicator and conversationalist. People pour their hearts out to you.

On a rainy day: you should spend the day catching up with your closest friends

You Are a Little Anal Retentive

Okay, so you’re occasionally uptight, but it’s not like you fill your day with little OCD rituals.

You just like to exercise a little control over your life, and that’s usually a good thing.

As long as you limit your anal retentive ways to your own behavior, you’re not annoying anyone.

Deep down, most people are exactly like you.

Your Personality at 35,000 Says…

Deep down, you prefer spending time alone to spending time with others. You enjoy thinking more than talking.

You are good with your place in the world. You are confident and comfortable with who you are.

Your gift is having a way with words. You know how to express yourself well.

You are inspired by what is unknown. You are drawn to the exotic.

It’s very easy for you to feel happy. You can find peace with any situation.

Xena (or D’anna Biers if u like) on TLW, CSI:Miami and Bitch Slap

Lucy Lawless as D'anna Biers in Battlestar Galactica

F**k yeah!! She says so, right in her blog. Can I just say, that I love this woman and I’m proud to be a fan of hers. Now, if we could just get Renee in the show too. Pretty please, Ilene Chaiken?

Lucy is also gonna be on CSI:Miami. Apparently she’s playing a tart with no heart for a change (her words by the way).

Speaking of ROC and LL. Here’s a poster of them in their cameo roles in the upcoming movie Bitch Slap. Kevin Sorbo and Michael Hurst are also in it. It’s a Hercules and Xena reunion, baby! I’m definitely gonna be on the lookout for this movie. The poster is classic Lucy and Renee being their goofy selfs. I remember the first thought that came to mind was: “Xena and Gabrielle are nuns?! What is this movie and where do I download it?”. The movie itself looks like a barrel of laughs as it pays homage to b-movies of old. I can’t really explain it so, I’ll let Michael Hurst do it . He does it so much better.

Oh yeah, the poster:

Bitch Slap the movie

I can’t wait to see this movie :D

why?

Why am I still watching 90210? It’s a teeny-bopper show for crying out loud! Well, Kelly’s there. I suppose that’s one reason. And of course, there’s her little sis, Silver, who’s fast becoming my favorite character in the show. Like I said in an earlier post, the kid has potential (the actor and the character). But just one gripe . . . Dixon/Silver? So not working. Zero chemistry. Sorry, but I just can’t see it. Silver has more chemistry with his sister. Hell, Dixon has more chemistry with his adopted sister. Though, I can see Silver being fascinated with Dixon and his family as hers is pretty much broken up.

And Annie . . . why does she keep smiling? Is she mental? Jeez, kid, quit it already. This character is so, so flat. I hope they start to write her with more personality soon.

Ethan looks Prince William-ish in some angles, I have to do a double-take at times.

Navid is cool. I like him.

Naomi . . . hmm, the actress needs to act betrayed better. I know she’s supposed to be 16 and all, but it’s a little disconcerting to see someone who looks obviously older trying to act like a teenager. I liked her acting better in the previous episodes.

Dear Mr. Matthews, you’re so sweet and nice and cute, but why do I feel like Kelly’s cradle-robbing? I like the guy, really I do, but there’s just no sparks between him and Kelly. And I’m not just saying that because I’m a Brandon/Kelly fan. I feel like the guy should have been one of the students instead of one of the adults. Now him and Naomi . . . therein lies potential.

Oh, dear! I hope I’m not gonna get addicted to another show.

Sweet changes

I’m loving the new look of this blog. Just noticed a couple of days ago that Friendster had changed the blog system from Typepad to WordPress. Now, I definitely prefer WordPress. Hopefully, they’ll allow us to upload our own themes, but the Waterlily theme I’m currently using is very very nice in the meantime.

90210 version 2.0

Posted in Weblogs by phoenyx57 on September 3, 2008

Cast of 90210

Hmm . . . not bad. There are a few things I have to say, though:

  1. I love seeing Jennie Garth again, but she needs to work on her voice.
  2. Love Silver already. She has potential. Should have been the lead character instead of Annie. Would have made a lot more sense as she’s the link between the old and the new.
  3. Why did they ruin the theme song? Bring back the old one!
  4. Is it just me or is there a bit of South of Nowhere in this here show? I’ve never watched SoN, but I’ve seen reviews and summaries. The white family adopting a black kid and moving to a new town thing is eerily similar.
  5. Bring back Brandon Walsh. I don’t care who the father of Kelly’s kid is, just bring back Brandon. Brandon/Kelly forever!
  6. Mr. Matthews and Naomi’s on-screen chemistry is intriguing.
  7. Give Silver a lot more screen time. The kid is interesting. Any chance of Brian Austin Green guesting in a future episode? It would be cool to see the three siblings interact. Then again, he’s on TSCC, so that’ll probably be impossible.
  8. Grandma Wilson . . . I think I love this lady, alcohol problems and all.

All in all, I think I’ll watch a few more episodes of the show to see if they have what it takes to get another season.

Song of the Week: Colourblind by Darius

Posted in Song of the Week by phoenyx57 on September 2, 2008

In an attempt to be more blog active, I’ll be posting a vid or mp3 of a song I found and liked once a week. Maybe even a playlist full if I’m in a very musical mood. Who knows. you might like it too :)

Today, will be a song I first heard while watching a fanvid for a Spanish TV Show called Los Hombres de Paco. It was just a very cool feel-good romantic song with a pop beat that wasn’t overly sugary. It helped that the fanvid was very well done. Anyway, I looked up the song’s original music video and here it is . . . Colourblind by Darius. Enjoy!
