oh, come on! write already!
I’ve started writing again. That’s after several years worth of writer’s block, and let me tell you, it feels like wading through mud, for the lack of a better analogy. Up to my neck mud. Really muddled.
I did try to overcome the block a couple of years ago, and started a few stories, which never got finished. Not for the lack of trying, mind you. I still have those unfinished novels on my old hard drive, gathering dust and got to reading them recently. One was about time-travel. Another was a . . . fantasy story involving a parallel world. I think two or three were contemporary novels. And one was a Xena Uber fanfic that I was planning to submit for a Christmas Fanfic contest on a website. They’re actually not that half-bad, surprisingly. And I’m not just saying that cause I made them or anything. I’m probably my own worst critic, well okay second worst . . . my mom’s got dibs on the the first
. . . I’d finish them if only I could remember what they were suppose to be about.
Anyway, I’m now in the midst of writing a new story. It’s Fantasy/Action/Adventure kinda . . . a little bit of everything really. It’s about two sisters living in modern day suburbia, who thought they knew everything about their family and themselves, only to discover that they never knew anything at all (I know it’s not very original, but I tend to just go with the flow and everything just slips into place and with it, a few surprises).
I’ve tentatively titled it "Heritage" for now, but I’ll probably change it. It’s actually a part of a trilogy that I’m planning to make (Heh . . . when I jump, I had to jump from the highest place I could find hehehe. "Shut up and jump."). The other two will be called "Legacy" and "Beginnings". Hopefully, I can get this done this time. The idea’s been in my head for several years and it’s now pushing for some air time. Demanding little buggers. Wish me luck.
which sci-fi crew should you be in?
You scored as SG-1 (Stargate). You are versatile and diverse in
your thinking. You have an open mind to that which seems highly
unlikely and accept it with a bit of humor. Now if only aliens would
stop trying to take over your body.

bilib ako sa iyo rustom . . .
Damn, my respect for Mr. Padilla has grown a notch with his heartfelt admission last night. That couldn’t have been easy and on national television pa. Keanna was funny, though, if a little weird. But, you got to admit, she does have impeccable timing hehehe . . . Anyway, I can’t wait to see what will happen when Rustom gets out of the Kuya’s house. In the light of his confession, and knowing how our film industry stereotypes the gay community, will he be still accepted as leading man material? Sayang naman kung hindi. I seem to remember that he had a lot of potential as dramatic actor some years ago. In any case, he’s one brave fellow.
On a different note … here’s another song that’s been getting some play time on my media player hehehe :
LUCKY
I want to see how lucky Lucky can be I saw you through my blind intoxicationMy shock induced insane self medicationYou looked at me and smiledSaid get ready to get wildSugar you just need a brief vacation [Chorus:] I want to see how lucky Lucky can beI want to ride with my Angel and live shockinglyI want to drive to the edge and into the seaI want to see how lucky Lucky can be I was dried up I was starving I was mangledI looked like hell twisted up and tangledYou whispered in my earThe ghosts are gone it's clearFor too long you've been tied up you've been strangled [Chorus] I don't want to ride on the shotgun sideDon't want to be a quaint observer on this super sonic rideDouble down split the aces to the racesI feel lucky tonight [solo] [Chorus]
