getting into the 80’s groove . . .

Watched “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” last night and found out that it was a revised version of the 80’s teen classic “Can’t buy Me Love”, which is, by the way one of my favorite movies of all time (yes I’m corny . . . bite me hehehe). Gotta say, while it was kinda fun watching an upgraded version of the Patrick Dempsey starrer, it sure didn’t live up to the original. Nick Cannon and Christina Milian were good, but they didn’t have much in the chemistry department, IMHO. One thing the movie did though, was make me wish I could watch the original again. Please HBO, show the goddamn movie!!

Speaking of the 80’s . . . I’ve recently been on a downloading-80’s-music frenzy, that makes my younger brothers roll their eyes at me everytime they hear “Crazy for You” or “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” playing hehehe. Can I help it if I’m a true 80’s child? The only thing I didn’t really like about that decade was the big ass hair-do’s LOL.

What a great weekend!!

Spent my Sunday afternoon in the company of my family and friends. What was the occasion , you might ask? Wala lang . . . okay it really started with Janet getting a case of cabin fever (di ma-survive ha big brother hehehe) and wanting a get together with the barkada. So, I say, why not? I provided the place and all they had to do was get there . . . relatively clean hehehe . . . Hey she wanted adventure right?

Anyway, ankle-deep mud notwithstanding, we had a great time. Well, “we” meaning Janet, Cyril, Abby, Jacqueline and Me. The rest had to do a bit of labor first hehehe, thanks to Toto getting his car stuck in the mud. Kidding aside though, we all had a great time . . . at least I hope all of us did Nag-continuation pa ha balay . . . sabay tagay of course(nag heart-to-heart nga nahimo nga hard-to-hard hehehe). Isn’t it obvious, I’m in such a great mood? Kahit muntikan na ako mahulog sa tulay LOL. Just goes to show how weird I am hehehe. Thank God it didn’t rain!!
